Heart Monitor Room Treatment Guide

How to complete the Heart Monitor room in Animal Hospital: click the white icons, avoid the skulls, reach 100% and administer items safely.

Last updated: June 19, 2026

The Heart Monitor room is room 7, on the left side of the hospital. Like the X-Ray room, it adds a mini-game in front of the standard item step — this time a click-the-right-targets game built around a heart percentage.

The Heart Monitor flow

Heart Monitor treatment has two phases:

  1. The heart mini-game. White icons and skulls appear. Click the white icons to raise the heart percentage and avoid the skulls. Reach 100% to complete the phase, then do some machine interactions.
  2. Administer items. Finish by giving the patient the correct items, just like Basic Medical — and as always, a wrong item kills the patient.

Tips for the heart mini-game

  • Prioritize the white icons. Every white icon you click pushes you toward 100%, so keep your eyes moving and click them quickly as they appear.
  • Avoid the skulls, but don’t panic about them. Clicking a skull lowers your heart percentage, yet it does not kill the patient. So a stray skull click is a minor setback, not a disaster — just refocus and keep clicking white icons.
  • Stay steady. Because skulls only slow you down rather than failing the treatment, accuracy beats frantic speed. Click deliberately to keep your percentage climbing.

Once you hit 100%, you will perform some machine interactions to wrap up the monitoring phase, then move to items.

Administer the correct items

The Heart Monitor ends the same way every treatment does: administer the correct items. A wrong item kills the patient and loses your progress. Order does not matter, but correctness is everything. This is the only part of the room that can truly fail you a patient, so give it your full attention.

You can leave mid-treatment

As with the other non-Surgery rooms, you can step away at most points to handle a check-in or event and come back. It is cleanest to leave after completing the heart mini-game rather than mid-way, so you do not lose your progress on the percentage.

The wrong-item trick

If a missed Anomaly ends up here, the wrong-item trick applies: give it the wrong item to kill it with no point penalty. Anomaly deaths never cost score, making this a safe cleanup for a check-in mistake — far better than letting it awaken into a Skinwalker.

Watch for room threats

The usual treatment-room hazards can appear: a Bed Monster under the bed, the Don’t Look Up ceiling threat, or a Death Ritual event. Respond to each with its specific method from the Enemies and Events sections so they do not break your concentration during the heart mini-game.

Next: Surgery

With Basic Medical, X-Ray and Heart Monitor handled, only the most demanding room remains: Surgery in room 8. Unlike every other treatment, Surgery is timed and cannot be left once it starts — read its guide carefully before you take one on.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Heart Monitor mini-game?

You click the white icons that appear and avoid clicking the skulls. Clicking white icons raises the heart percentage toward 100%; clicking skulls lowers it but won't kill the patient.

Do skulls kill the patient?

No. Clicking a skull lowers your heart percentage but does not kill the patient. It just slows you down, so try to avoid them and keep climbing to 100%.

Where is the Heart Monitor room?

Room 7, on the left side of the hospital, between the X-Ray room (6) and the Surgery room (8).
